No Disrespect By Sister Souljah Journal Entry #1

Five Comments
1. Their father didn't want them to trust anybody
2. Their dad gave them a picture of a crying clown and said told the kids
3. The dads visits became less frequent
4. Their mom was hated by all the other women in the neighborhood, she was thought to be stuck-up
5. The family was on welfare and now living in the projects
Four Questions
1. Why would the dad let her fall?
2. Why did the dad start visiting the kids less?
3. Why were they on welfare?
4. Why did they move into the projects?
Three Words
1. Intermittent: not continuous or steady
2. Perversely: showing a deliberate or obstinate desire to behave in a way that is unreasonable or unacceptable in spite of the consequences
